Tinchy Stryder is a British rapper, songwriter, and entrepreneur from London. He began his career in 2006 with his debut studio album Star in the Hood. He has since achieved success with his singles ""Take Me Back"" and ""Number 1"", which reached number 3 and number 1 on the UK Singles Chart respectively. He has released four successful studio albums and collaborated with a variety of artists including N-Dubz, Dappy, Tinie Tempah, Chipmunk, and Ms Dynamite.

Tinchy Stryder was born Kwasi Danquah III on the 14th of September 1986 in Accra, Ghana. He is the son of Kwasi Danquah II, a former Ghanaian MP. In 2003 at the age of 17 he moved to England with his mother and siblings. Shortly after arriving in London he began to pursue a career in music.

In 2006 Tinchy Stryder released his debut studio album Star in the Hood. The album featured collaborations with artists such as Ruff Sqwad and Dizzee Rascal. The album

was well-received by critics and peaked at number 19 on the UK Albums Chart. His second album Catch 22 was released in 2009 and featured collaborations with artists such as N-Dubz, Dappy, Tinie Tempah, Chipmunk, and Ms Dynamite. The album was even more successful than his previous album and peaked at number 8 on the UK Albums Chart.

In 2011 Tinchy Stryder released his third studio album Third Strike. The album spawned two top 10 hits: ""Take Me Back"" (number 3) and ""Number 1"" (number 1). His fourth studio album Full Tank was released in 2012 but failed to match the success of his previous albums. In 2015 he founded Takeover Entertainment Ltd., an independent record label which he still runs today. He has since released several singles through the label.

Tinchy Stryder is one of the most successful rappers to emerge from Britain in recent years. He has achieved commercial success with his singles and albums and continues to make music today with his own record label Takeover Entertainment Ltd.
