Paul Morrell is a well-respected British DJ, producer & remixer, with a career spanning two decades.

Paul Morrell is a well-respected British DJ, producer, and remixer whose career spans more than two decades. He began DJing house music in Coventry in the mid-1990s and soon found himself supporting major artists at iconic venues including Progress (Derby), Steering Wheel and Subway City (Birmingham), as well as promoting his own national Classique Events.

Paul has since developed into a widely respected and in-demand DJ across the UK and Europe. His major festival appearances include the 30,000-capacity Weekend Festival in Helsinki, performing alongside Martin Garrix, Steve Angello, Tiësto and Axwell. He is also a mainstay at large-scale Pride events — including Birmingham, London and Manchester — where he has performed with artists such as Dua Lipa, Rudimental, Sigala and Mark Knight. Paul also holds residencies at world-famous London superclubs XXL and frequently appears at Ministry of Sound.

In 2018, Paul played for Matinée in Barcelona and was invited to perform at the prestigious Gatecrasher Classical concert set within the historic ruins of Coventry Cathedral — a landmark moment in his hometown.

As a remixer, Paul has achieved major commercial success, notably scoring a UK Number 1 with his remix of Ava Max – “Sweet But Psycho”, which remained at the top of the charts for four consecutive weeks. His official remix work spans a vast range of artists including Troye Sivan, Kelly Clarkson, All Saints, Livin’ Joy, StoneBridge, Sonique, Judge Jules, Ruff Driverz, Paul Oakenfold, and K-Klass. His 2017 remix of Motorcycle – “As The Rush Comes” (Gabriel & Dresden), released on Positiva Records, hit #1 in both the UK and European Club Charts.

As a producer and songwriter, Paul has collaborated with major vocalists and dance artists such as Boy George, Sonique, Mutya Buena, Kimberly Wyatt, Katherine Ellis, Baby D, and Chris Leonard, while recently shaping a more house-driven sound. His releases have featured the vocals of Laura White, Amanda Wilson, and Kelli-Leigh, earning strong radio support from Scott Mills and Greg James (BBC Radio 1), Judge Jules, Paul van Dyk, Don Diablo, Dave Pearce, Andi Durrant and Phil Marriott.

Paul has also released original material on Paul Oakenfold’s Perfecto label, including the singles “Call It Love” and “Sweet Melody”, further solidifying his relationship with one of the most iconic imprints in global dance music.

Beyond his DJ and studio work, Paul plays a key role in the revival of the legendary Birmingham club brand Decadence, helping re-establish it as a leading force in classic and contemporary house culture. He also hosts the weekly Saturday night dance show on Gaydio.

Recent music highlights include his collaborative remix of the club classic “P.A.S.S.I.O.N.” with Jon Pleased Wimmin, and “Feel My Love” featuring Blair and Jennifer Bolton (as well as a huge remix from K-Klass), which continues to receive strong club and radio support.

With a powerful combination of global performances, chart-topping remixes, and continually evolving production, Paul Morrell remains one of the UK’s most influential and enduring forces in contemporary dance music.
