Biography

Growing up in and around the electro and break-dancing scene of the 1980's, Paul Bleasdale's transition to raver, clubber and then DJ was a natural one. After building his name in local bars, he was offered the chance to become the resident DJ at a new club opening in Liverpool, Cream. The rest is history as they say. He is still the original Cream resident DJ, from its inception to the close of its doors in 2002.

He was the driving force behind the tough underground sound of the club's legendary 'Annexe' room which hosted the world’s best DJ's, shaping the sound for Cream's loyal and dedicated following.

As well as his residency in Liverpool, Paul was Cream's main tour resident, playing all over the globe, taking a little piece of Cream's amazing atmosphere to its adoring worldwide fans, while cementing his own reputation as one of the leading DJ's of that time in the underground house and techno genre.

After time away from the scene to pursue other interests, Paul is back on Cream's impressive roster, playing at their sold out shows in Liverpool, including Creamfields, with many more dates to come, and at various nights around the country.

Not satisfied with just playing classics to a generation that grew up listening to him in Cream, Paul has also joined forces with an up and coming local underground House and Tech record label called Big Fist. With one track, appropriately named 'Annexed', already storming up the charts with support from the world's biggest names, and with more production in the pipeline, and a monthly residency at their new underground House and Tech night, Paul is still championing the sound he loves and is best known for.
