Biography

Marks’ pedigree is unquestionable. An unbridled sense of humour, notorious clubbing antics and brilliant selection of energetic and funky party music had made Mark one of the most instantly recognisable characters in worldwide clubbing.

Mark Luvdup has been entertaining clubbers the world over at the highest level for over three decades. Voted in the top 25 DJs in the world in DJ Magazine’s reader’s poll – Marks’ pedigree is unquestionable. An unbridled sense of humour, notorious clubbing antics and brilliant selection of energetic and funky party music had made Mark one of the most instantly recognisable characters in worldwide clubbing.

Mark absolutely rocks the party wherever he DJs, equally at home mixing up hands-in-the-air classics or delighting the dance floor with the latest upfront party belters (or a mixture of both). With his 2nd nature floor-reading skills and superior technical mixing ability, Mark knows how to get the party started and keep it going, with clubbers always screaming for more!

Mark has DJed in every major club in the UK as well as throughout Europe, including, of course, Ibiza, as well as Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria, Latvia, Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Russia, Georgia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Thailand and South Africa have all been visited regularly too.

It's not just the DJing that has established his name so strongly, as Mark has caused quite a stir with his production, remix and mix compilation career. He has worked on over 40 remixes for such well-known acts as Womack and Womack, M. People and The Charlatans. Other notable remixes have been for Sam Ellis, Soft House Company and Rollo Goes Camping. His own material has received such critical accolades as Pete Tong's Essential New Tune on Radio 1, and Mixmag Update magazine's single of the week. As well as all this, the mixing duties on several dance compilations have won him a couple of gold discs to hang up in the bathroom (for Fantazia’s Club Classics series) and an appearance on Radio 1's Essential Mix show was awarded a very high 8.5 out of 10 rating.

To quote from a Mixmag article;

“Without people like Mark Luvdup, the great British club scene would be a much sadder place”.
