Queen of British Soul Beverley Knight has been one of the UK's most consistent artists of the past 15 years, scoring several top 10 albums, including the platinum selling Voice: The Best Of Beverley Knight. She has sold over a million albums in the UK along the way, including four gold albums. She has been awarded an MBE for her services to British Music and for her charity work, won three MOBOs, been nominated for Best Female at the Brit Awards three times and been nominated for the prestigious Mercury Music Prize twice.

Her staggering live performances have gained her a legion of fans from David Bowie to Prince, Take That to Jamiroquai. She supported Prince in his O2 ’21 Nights’ shows in summer 2007 and was invited on stage with him at his aftershow jams where the two performed together for over two hours. In fact, Prince was so taken by Beverley’s live set he flew her to LA in February ’08 to perform with him at his post Oscars party where they were joined on stage by Stevie Wonder.

Her latest critically acclaimed album 'Soul UK', was a top 15 charting album upon its release in July 2011. It sees her paying tribute to the British soul artists who inspired her, including Soul II Soul, Omar and Roachford.

Beverley has presented four series of Radio 2 show Beverley’s Gospel Nights and appeared in two series of hit BBC1 show Just The Two Of Us. She’s a semi-regular guest on Loose Women and recently won BBC1 Celebrity Mastermind. She is currently working on her 8th studio album due for release next year.

Beverley recently wowed a 1 billion viewing audience with an outstanding rendition of the song “I Am What I Am’ at The London 2012 Paralympics Opening ceremony. Speaking after the ceremony, Beverley said "Being a part of [the] show was not only awe-inspiring but thought-provoking... I was so proud to have been sharing the stage with true supermen and women."
