Mike has been DJing since 1989, and through the 90’s he played clubs all over the world and curated and featured on many of the hugely successful Fantazia Club Classics and House Collections albums of the 90’s alongside Paul Oakenfold, Graeme Park, Brandon Block, Luvdup and others. After a number of years pursuing other interests he’s now returning to the decks – which is his case is ‘the decks’ playing seamlessly mixed journeys through 90’s house classics purely from vinyl.

Back in the day Mike began his musical career organising and DJing at some of the South West’s earliest illegal raves in fields, quarries and warehouses, but after having his equipment impounded and appearing in Crown Court on noise pollution charges in 1990, he focussed on DJing at clubs and events that actually had a license!

As his reputation grew for artful and skilfully created DJ sets, Fantazia approached him to select music for, and appear on what became the House Collection and Club Classics mix albums which sold over half a million copies worldwide. This gave Mike national and international recognition and he went on to headline at top clubs throughout the UK and Ireland as well as the USA, Canada, Portugal, Greece, Norway, Finland, Latvia, Estonia, Malta, Cyprus, Dubai, Bali, the Philippines and New Zealand.

Mike is also an accomplished multi-instrumentalist musician: his Coda recordings label licensing his own house tracks to major labels in the UK and around the world during the 90’s (including the classic ‘You’re Beautiful' by Madagascar) and more recently song writing in other musical genres. This means he brings a musicians ear to his DJing, adding an extra dimension to his mixing.
